Meet our team: Dr. Heather Scheuring

Dr. Heather Scheuring is an incredible Bay Area acupuncturist whose warmth and care radiate when you meet her.

She is a mama of a sweet kid and has an incredible life with her family in Marin.

We are lucky to have her practicing in Berkeley with us. Come in to meet her!

What Heather is…

Watching: I'm really enjoying The Pitt and Shrinking. I'm looking forward to watching The Testaments (follow up to The Handmaid's Tale). I'm also re-watching New Girl for the fourth time!

Listening: I have pretty broad music tastes, but I really love indie music from the early 2000s and tend to listen to it on repeat. A few of my favorite bands from the genre include The Strokes, Florence + The Machine, MGMT, The Format, Ben Folds, The Shins and Arcade Fire. I've recently been enjoying "End of Beginning" by Joe Keery. I'm a big fan of Fleetwood Mac and Simon and Garfunkle and I'm also a bit of a Swiftie. 

When I'm driving, I actually prefer to listen to podcasts. My favorites are Amy Poehler's Good Hang, The mindbodygreen podcast, and Code Switch. 

Reading: On my own, I'm reading Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt and with my 8 year old daughter, I'm reading The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart.

What ‘s coming up for Heather:

My family and I will be traveling to see our extended families in both Arizona and Kentucky this summer. We also hope to fit in some fun weekend trips to Monterey, Calistoga, and Gualala.
